Hello, I’m Dr. Aveen Hassan. I’ve been practising dentistry for more than 20 years, and I’ve cared for patients in Ontario since 2018. At Hayden Charles Dental Care, I provide general and family dentistry, including Invisalign treatment and smile makeovers. I believe dental care should feel personal: I take time to understand each patient’s needs, explain their options, and tailor treatment with a gentle approach.
Learning has always been important to me. I began my dental education in Jordan and have continued to build my knowledge through clinical training, teaching, and ongoing professional education. I enjoy bringing what I learn into the care I provide every day.
Outside the clinic, I love reading, writing, photography, drawing, crafting, dancing, singing, and listening to classical and jazz music. I’m also fascinated by outer space and quantum physics. Most of all, I love spending time outdoors with my husband and daughter—we try to go camping together every summer.

Just had a visit there and I’ve just been thinking how many years I’ve been there. All the hygienists and dentists that I’ve had over the years and just deal with all of it to the point that I don’t even know what the appointment is for. lol. Now that’s trust as I love my choppers to eat food which I love a lot of. lol. So far so good!

Amazing staff. They went above and beyond. Plus it is easy to find and get to. It is conveniently right outside the Bloor-Yonge TTC Station. Update: Went for a second appointment and everything was fast and efficient. Amazing service as usual.

Dr Aveen Hassan, like her now-retired predecessor Dr Griffith, is kind, communicative and sensitive to those with dental anxiety. Modern tech and attention to detail mean the work is done quickly and with the least amount of stress on the patient. Plus I appreciate Crystal’s gentle, attentive hygiene appointments!
